Nail Art: Sun Nail Charms from Honey Bunny Lacquer

Who loves nail charms? I love having a specific charm to plan a mani around. So last week when Honey Bunny Lacquer sent me a couple of her charms I was excited to create some art! Let’s take a look…

Honey Bunny Lacquer sent me these super cool sun charms, and the mani ideas started flooding in. But I knew immediately this was the mani I wanted to do.

For this look I started with Pretty & Polished Frozen in Time for the dark holographic navy. For my ring and pinky nails I used Zoya Solange and Zoya Piaf. (Do you have a polish that you love so much but everyone else hates it? Piaf is that polish for me. I almost never wear yellow as it’s not particularly flattering with my pale skin.. but I love Zoya Piaf!)
Anyway…

I then chose a couple images from UberChic plate #3-02 that I felt really complimented the sun charm. For the stamping I didn’t have a navy blue MdU, so I mixed a little royal blue with black till I got the perfect color. The pale yellow stamping is MdU Peace.

And of course the strategically placed charm to make it the focal point of this mani. Here is a macro shot..

I hope you like this mani! Check out Honey Bunny Lacquer’s Etsy shop for more charms, she has some very unique ones.
