Hello ladies! I am sooooo glad to be back blogging with you again. I had a number of very high pain days last week and couldn’t even really think about my nails, much less swatch anything. But I, along with my enthusiasm, am back and ready to show you some polish! So put on your sunglasses and let’s check out the Orly Pacific Coast Highway (PCH) collection!
Orly Summer Sunset
Summer Sunset is described as a pumpkin shimmer. Definitely a unique color with a strong shimmer finish. I obviously couldn’t wear this color alone (thanks pale skintone!), but I think it would be fantastic in a gradient for a beach theme mani. Required a bit more finesse but was able to get even coverage in about 2 coats (with a bit of touch up.)
Orly Scenic Route
Scenic Route is a bright lavender creme. It’s not your run of the mill neon, it’s better. A lovely different shade with a flawless formula. My swatches show 2 thin coats with glossy top coat.
Orly Road Trippin’
Road Trippin’ is your true neon highlighter yellow creme. As in a Bam! In Your Face! neon yellow. The formula on this required a bit more finesse than the others, but I was still able to get smooth even coverage in 2 coats.
Orly Life’s a Beach
Life’s A Beach is a bright red-orange neon creme. This is a bold bright color and my poor camera didn’t know what to do with it. It very much looks like it’s glowing in this pic, but that gives you an idea just how bright it is! Two easy smooth coats and a glossy top coat.
Orly Paradise Cove
Paradise Cove is described as a crimson fuchsia shimmer. This is a bit darker in real life, an absolutely gorgeous color with a lovely shimmer. This is 2 coats with glossy top coat.
Orly Put the Top Down
Put The Top Down is described as a pink and peach neon creme. Another gorgeous vivid color! Flawless formula, my swatch shows 2 coats with glossy top coat.
I felt like this collection was a slight gamble, given how bad some from their last collection was, but it’s Orly and they know neons! I was thrilled to find that the Orly we know and love was back with their A game. The Pacific Coast Highway collection is full of great colors with great formulas. You really can’t go wrong with these.
Note: No white undies needed!
