Joy Lacquer The Birthstones Collection 2017

Hi friends! Today’s post is big. Really big. So without much small talk I’m going to jump right in. In celebration of her upcoming 40th birthday, Joy with Joy Lacquer decided to do something special. She created a complete Birthstones Collection, including a special 1977 polish. What makes this birthstones collection unique is she didn’t always just stick to the most common stone, she stepped a little outside the birthstone box. And by doing so she has created a beautiful, unique, and diverse collection! Now let’s take a look…

Note: Since this was such a long post I didn’t go into a lot of detail about each polish. If there was anything that warranted mentioning I mentioned it, otherwise I had no real problems with formulas or application.

The birthstone polishes are $11 each for 13 ml full size and 8 ml minis are $8.

The one time preorder for the Birthstones Collection opens September 1st and runs through September 15th. During this time a 40% off coupon code,  Hello40, can be used on any in stock store items. In stock items purchased will be held and shipped with the pre order birthstone polishes on or just before September 15th.

If you spend $50+ (after coupon code) you will also receive a free gift with purchase, a coconut and shea butter custom sugar scrub from Love & Lotus. The sugar scrub, aptly named 1977, has a fresh scent of ocean waves, water lilies, freesia, a dash of spice and holly berries. And side note, aren’t they cute?! 🙂

  • Opal Pink Tourmaline is my favorite. No Peridot for August!!?? That’s sacrilege. Okay, maybe it’s because I’m a green lover, lol.

  • There’s so many polishes from this collection that I like! The sugar scrubs are adorable!

  • Tracey

Love all of These, but September is lush ♡

  • April is my birth month but I prefer some of the other months selections! Pink Tourmaline, Aquamarine, Alexandrite!
