Liquid Sky Lacquer · Nail Polish Swatches

Liquid Sky Lacquer ~ What Happens in Vegas ends up on Instagram

Well I hope you have all had a great week. Me not so much, but tomorrow is always a new day! I’ve been doing lots of swatching this week and have lots of great things coming up for you; including tutorials for a lot of the nail art I have posted recently. This blog has been keeping me plenty busy, but that’s less time I have to stress over other life issues. Okay, that’s enough of my babble lets get on to the polish!

I was so excited when I got these in to swatch. They are different from literally anything in my collection; and that is saying a lot. This is a collection of 5 microglitter polishes, each in a semi sheer black base; although the tend to lean a little towards red or blue depending upon the glitter in each. I really was hoping to catch shots of these in the sun, but the weather has not been cooperating. If I ever see the sun again I will update with some full sun shots. Indoor shots just cannot do them justice! ☀️

110 in the Shade
110 in the Shade is a black semi sheer base loaded with purple glitter. I used 3 thin coats to reach full opacity. Swatch shown with 2 coats of Seche Vite. Due to the glitter load some of these dried with a slight texture, 2 coats of Seche Vite smooths them out nicely though.

(Macro’s in matte to show glitter)

Where’s my Cabana Boy?
Where’s my Cabana Boy is a semi-sheer black jelly base loaded with a combination of various pink and purple microglitters. This one leans ever so slightly to a purple eggplant color. The swatches below are 3 thin coats with 2 coats of Seche Vite top coat.

The Strip
The Strip is one of the prettiest in this collection, but unfortunately my indoor swatches just could not capture it’s true beauty. This one is a semi-sheer black jelly base loaded with a mix of blue and holographic microglitters. It truly sparkles in the light. My swatches below are 3 thin coats with 2 coats of Seche Vite top coat.

The Magic comes out at Night
The Magic comes out at Night is a semi sheer black jelly base with green microglitters. The swatches are 3 coats with 2 coats of Seche Vite top coat.

Showgirl
Showgirl is a semi sheer black jelly base with dark wine red microglitters. When dry it has a very deep red feel to it. The swatches below are 3 thin coats with 2 coats Seche Vite top coat.

The What Happens in Vegas ends up on Instagram Collection will release Sunday, April 18. So if you love these as much as I do you might wasn’t to set a reminder. 🙂

In the meantime I suggest stalking Liquid Sky Lacquer.

Have you picked a favorite from this collection yet? I would have to say that Showgirl and The Strip are my favorites, with Where’s my Cabana boy close behind. Oh let’s just say all of them and keep it simple!
Remember, April 18th! 🙂

Hope you enjoyed today’s post, and may you all have a wonderful weekend!
