Lacquer Queen Polish ~ Bath and Body

I may have never mentioned that I’m a total sucker for Bath and Body products. Shower gel, bath salts,  facial masks, deep conditioning treatments, balms, body butters, oils, lotions, creams.. you name it and I’ve tried it. Can you imagine my excitement when I discovered indie bath and body products? I was even more excited than when I discovered indie nail polish! I know, right?! Blasphemy.

So last week when I received this package of bath and body products from Lacquer Queen Polish I was understandably excited! Tammi is expanding her line of bath and body products and branding them under the name Treat Yourself Handmade Bath and Body.

2 Orange Creamsicle Bath Bombs
3 Orange Creamsicle Mani Bombs
1 Mandarin Orange Bar Soap
1 Dead Sea Clay Mask
1 Red Moroccan Clay Scrub

Orange Creamsicle Bath Bombs
Last November a friend gifted me with my first bath bombs. I was immediately hooked! From that moment I knew that I never wanted to run out of these little bubbly, fizzy, moisturizing miracles. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to get more from that company for over 2 months. During those 2 months I tried literally dozens of brands. And I found the same thing time and again, most of the bath bombs I found were mostly filler products with few ingredients really made for moisturizing. So when Tammi started making bath bombs I was so eager to try them, knowing the quality of her other products. Well she did not disappoint. In fact, she knocked it right out of the park! Between the lovely citrus scent (or your choice!), the relaxing bubbling action, and the amazing moisturizing properties; my hot bath was heavenly. None of that dry skin after a bath feeling, in fact my skin was so soft and refreshed after my bath that I didn’t need any lotion! I love love love these bath bombs. As one that has tried so many bath bombs with seemingly continual disappointment, these are far better than your average . I will be ordering more before this review has even posted. Truth.

Ingredients: Sodium Biocarbonate, Citric Acid, Corn Starch, Coconut Oil, Olive Oil, Avocado Oil, Water, and Fragrance Oil.

Mandarin Orange Bar Soap
As one that loves liquid soaps and shower gels I wasn’t sure how I would like these bar soaps. I should have known better, Tammi knocked it out of the park with these too. This gently cleansing, moisturizing bar soap was the perfect addition to my heavenly hot bath. It left my skin soft and lightly scented

Ingredients: Olive Oil, Coconut Oil, Shea Butter, Jojoba Oil, Avocado Oil, Water Sodium, Hydroxide, and Essential Oil.

Red Moroccan Clay Scrub and Dead Sea Clay Mask
I used the scrub and mask in combination according to the below directions. The mask had a very “clean” scent which was quite refreshing while waiting the 10 minutes till dry. Afterwards I had no blackheads, no clogged pores, just refreshingly clean skin. I followed up with my nightly facial cream. The following morning my face still felt “lighter” than it normally does in the morning. I’m doing to continue use with these to see what the long term benefits are, but so far I’m quite impressed.

Red Moroccan Clay Scrub Ingredients:
Red Moroccan Clay, Argan Oil, Avocado Oil, Almond Oil, Ground Walnut Shells
Dead Sea Clay Mask Ingredients:  Dead Sea Clay, Argan Oil, Avocado Oil, Almond Oil, and Colloidal Oatmeal

Scrub and Mask Directions:

Step 1. TO APPLY SCRUB: The Red Moroccan Clay Scrub has ground walnut shells for exfoliation. Use 2-3 times weekly. Once it is mud consistency, scrub all over face and neck. Avoid eyes, nostrils, mouth. If you like for an added skin nutrient rich benefit, after scrubbing you may let dry. Once dry, rinse off with warm water. Follow with Dead Sea Clay Mask.

Step 2. TO APPLY MASK: The Dead Sea Clay Mask has colloidal oatmeal in it to add in soothing the skin. Use 2-3 times weekly. Once it is mud consistency, apply to face and neck avoiding eyes, nostrils, and mouth. If you like you may use as a gentle scrub, then let dry completely (about 10-15 minutes). Once dried rinse off with warm water.

Note: The mani bombs are returning to the lab for further perfecting before I include those in my review.
