Blue Eyed Girl Lacquer ~ Swatch and Review

We are all always on the lookout for new polish, am I right? I know I am. Especially new indie brands. I was recently introduced to a new indie brand by a fellow blogger. I never hesitate to try a new brand when they are recommended by another blogger. As bloggers we try a lot of different polish and we take the responsibility of honest reviews very seriously. So when I started seeing a lot of great reviews about Blue Eyed Girl Lacquer I knew I had to try it. So I quickly picked out a couple that jumped out at me.

The two polishes that I picked out are Kaffir Lily, and The One Worth Leaving.

Kaffir Lily

Kaffir Lily is described as a medium pink holographic polish with gold to pink shifting glass flecks.
To me there is a touch of mauve to this one too which just makes it that much prettier. This could easily be a one coater. The color is rich and deeply pigmented. The listing for Kaffir Lily indicates it may need to be thinned out as it’s designed to be a one coater, but mine didn’t need any thinning at all.

The swatches below show 2 thin coats with HK Girl top coat.

The One Worth Leaving
The One Worth Leaving is described as a deep berry pink with pink and purple shimmers.
I love the deep rich berry jelly-like formula this polish has. And those micro glitters are an added bonus. Another gorgeous polish!
My swatches are 2 thin coats with HK Girl top coat.

Pros: Both of these polishes have a fantastic formula with rich color and pigment (but no staining!)
Blue Eyed Girl Lacquer offers 10ml mini bottles, which in my opinion are the perfect size mini. As one with thousands of bottles of polish I don’t need full size in everything, but the typical 5ml mini’s are entirely too small. This 10ml size is fantastic, and has a full size cap and brush.

Cons: None that I could find.

Overall I’m very pleased with my first experience of Blue Eyed Girl Lacquer. I will definitely be ordering more soon! Do you have a favorite of these two? I couldn’t possibly pick one, I love them both very much!

These two colors, as well as many many more are available on the Blue Eyed Girl Lacquer website ~ http://blueeyedgirllacquer.bigcartel.com

I also recommend stalking them on social media to keep up with all the latest and greatest.

Hope you enjoyed today’s post.

Until next time, stay polished!
