Guest Post: Nail Art by Moni’s Mani

Hello hello!! Monica from Moni’sMani here!! How are you?! I’m super happy to be writing to you today! This guest blog post is extra special for me as Tiffany is one of my oldest and dearest nail friends. Also, I was one of the people who urged her to start her blog, I’m so happy to see how far she’s come and how amazing this blog is! I absolutely knew you could do it Tiffany!

Ok, so this post might be a little sappy because I have decided to use a very special polish for the occasion and of course I have to tell you the story. About two years ago, I got terrible news and confided in Tiffany, aside from comforting me, she turned around and gifted me Zoya Monica, a polish I was lusting over because of the obvious reasons (the name of course). Even though it wasn’t the first time she had gifted me polish, I was so happy and so touched that she would take the time to do something like that, she definitely cheered me up and restored my faith in humanity. So, many times when I think of Tiffany I think of the amazing person who went out of her way just to bring a smile to my face and of course.. I think of awesome nails haha.

So, now that you know a bit more about how awesome Tiffany is let me tell you about me; I’m a SAHM from NJ with an absolute obsession with nail polish! Started my humble little blog in March 13′ as a way to document my manicuring adventures and also as a creative outlet. Love writing and love blogging, I like to think of it as my online diary. I focus mainly on easy beginner nail art and swatches from both mainstream and indie.

Today’s mani showcases Zoya Monica (as I said before) and Different Dimension’s “Anteros” on my ring finger. To make it a little prettier I decided to use a couple of water decals I purchased from ebay (for 0.16c yay for bids!). I’ve always loved these decals!!

In the pictures you see 3 coats of each polish, Monica is a bit thinner than I’d like but three coats do the trick. Anteros is beautiful glittery perfection! Both polishes dried quickly and beautifully with one coat of Seche Vite in the glossy pics and topped with L’oreal matte top coat for the matte version, I purchased this matte coat recently but I’m not loving it as it leaves a bit of a brush strokey look don’t you think? Let me know if you prefer matte or glossy!

Hope you like the mani and please swing by my blog and social media (links below), I’d love to get to know you! Promise my normal posts are not this long haha. There was much to say here!
