Nail Art ~ Square Hue 1990’s Decade Collection

Time for another SquareHue box. I cannot believe how fast this last month has gone by. I must be getting old. Is it true that the older you get the faster time seems to pass? If it is, I’m definitely old! :/ Okay, enough about that, onto the polish!

So this month is the 1990’s Decades collection; the polishes included are Y2K, Desert Storm, and Vogue. Y2K is a deep metallic grey with lots of shimmer, Desert Storm is a nude sandy creme, and Vogue is a shimmering wine red. Desert Storm is my favorite among these, but I love how well they go together so rather than swatches I opted for some nail art for this collection.

For this look I started with 2 coats of Desert Storm on all my nails. For my accent nails I made reverse stamping decals using UberChic plate #3-02 filling in a portion of the open areas with Square Hue Vogue and Y2K. Once the decals were dry I placed them on my accent nails and adhered with a layer of HK Girl Glisten & Glow. This mani was deceptively simple, and only took about 30 minutes to complete. I love the outcome though! How do you like this look?
