I have a strange obsession with all things under the sea. I have for as long as I can remember. Is it just me? I have to believe it’s not. Well understandably so, I was so excited when Melissa from MDJ Creations sent me her Mermaid Trio to swatch. So let’s jump right into the swatches!
The Mermaid Trio consists of 3 gorgeous holographic polishes with *Invisible* color shifting glitter and glow in the dark effects. The invisible glitter literally disappears and reappears as the light angle changes, as well as shifting color w/the light angle. The color shifts as light bends across the nail. Mermaid Treasure shifts orange/green. Mermaid Tail shifts gold/teal. Mermaid Tears shifts blue/green.
Mermaid Tears
Mermaid Tears consists of a blue/green color shifting glitter in a clear base. My swatches below are one coat of Mermaid Tears over Zoya Song. Shown first with glossy top coat, then matte top coat.

I absolutely loved this both glossy and in matte and really didn’t want to take it off!
Mermaid Tail
Mermaid Tail consists of a gold/teal color shifting glitter in a mint green semi sheer base. My swatches below are 3 coats followed by glossy top coat.
Mermaid Treasure
Mermaid Treasure consists of orange/green color shifting glitter in a clear base. My swatches below are one coat of Mermaid Treasure over Zoya Suri. Shown first with glossy top coat, then matte top coat.

All 3 of these also glow in the dark, which I tried to capture, with very limited success. I’m just not that cool yet I guess. But check out MDJ Creations Instagram account (linked below) for some great glow swatches of these!
