HPB Link Up ~ Neutrals and Neons Mani

It’s time for another Hobby Polish Bloggers link up. Hobby Polish Bloggers is a facebook group for hobby bloggers, like myself. It’s a fun and supportive group, and each month we do a themed link up. I was really excited, and surprised, when my idea was chosen this month. So let’s take a look at my Neutral and Neon mani!

For this mani I started with 2 coats of Polish my Life Vail, which is one of my favorite neutrals. While I waited for the base polish to dry I started working on my decals. For the neon decals I used plate BP-55 and colored in parts of the image using Orly Push the Limit, Orly Thrill Seeker, Orly Be Daring, and Essie Make Some Noise.

For the neon studs, I used some silver studs I got on ebay and painted them with the neon polishes I used for the decals. Once they were dry I just affixed them to my nails with a little nail glue. Top coat usually works fine too, depending upon how long you want them to stick around. 🙂

I’ve always been intrigued by the idea of mixing neons and neutrals, but this is the first time I’ve actually done it. I really like how this turned out. I will definitely be doing more of this in the future!

Is this a look you would wear? I hope you enjoyed today’s post, and be sure to check out the link up below to see what the other bloggers came up with. Hope you enjoyed today’s post!

Until next time, stay polished!
