Textured Polish. It seems people either love it or hate it. Well the ladies over at Probelle Beauty have come up with the perfect answer to the textured polish predicament. Not too much texture, and not too little texture.. it’s like the goldilocks of texture polish!
Probelle Textured Dark Blue
A classic dark blue, not quite yet navy. This is 2 coats with no top coat.
A fuchsia pink with the soft light texture finish. This is 2 coats with no top coat.
This is best described as a leafy forest green. This is 2 coats with no top coat. It did stain my cuticles a little, so I would recommend some extra care with application and removal.
This is a bright lemon yellow. Due to the lighter color the texture did not show up well in my pics, but it has the same soft light texture.
Probelle Textured Purple
This is a lovely lilac purple, one of my favorite shades. This is 2 coats with no top coat.
A classic aqua marine turquoise with probelle’s signature soft light texture. This is 2 coats with no top coat.
My Thoughts: All 10 of these had the same easy smooth formula. They apply just like any good quality polish would. The texture comes up after it dries, so it doesn’t have any of that awkward formula that you can sometimes get with textured polish. The best way to describe these are as a cross between Zoya Satin Mattes and Sally Hansen Matte Velvets (released 2 years ago.) I like both of those lines which clearly would be why I like these. I did find that using a ridge filling base coat was helpful, since you don’t get the benefit of a top coat hiding any imperfections on the nail plate.
These retail for $7 each and are available now.
Until next time, stay polished!
