Good Morning everyone! I don’t know about you but I’ve had a rough week. I feel like I’m still struggling to get back into my routine after the holidays. With any luck next week will settle down. Do you ever struggle finding your routine again after the holidays? Or do you happily (or maybe not so happily) fall right back into it? But you’re not here to hear about me.. so onto the polish! Today I have the January Square Hue box to show you; The Tango Dance Collection.
Square Hue Golpe
Golpe is best described as an icy metallic blue. It has a nice smooth formula and I’m wearing it here in 2 thin coats with glossy top coat.
Square Hue Media Luna
Media Luna is best described as a shimmery deep blue, not quite a navy but close. Another easy formula that could be opaque in one thicker coat. I’m wearing 2 thin coats.
Square Hue La Parada
La Parada is best described as a sheer tangerine jelly with holographic micro glitters throughout. The formula on this one was unfortunately quite thick. I think 3 coats would be mostly opaque but I stopped at 2 coats as it was feeling heavy and thick on my nails even after it dried.
I decided to use Golpe and Media Luna for my manicure, this design is super simple but has a very contemporary feel to it and elongates your nails! I started with 2 coats of Golpe across all my nails and let it dry thoroughly.
I used triangle nail vinyls (like these from What’s up Nails) and then painted one coat of Media Luna. I removed the vinyls while the polish was still wet and sealed my design with a glossy top coat.
