Square Hue Samba Dance Collection ~ February 2017

Today I’m excited to share the February Square Hue box with you all. The theme for this year is Dance, and this month is the Samba. This box is literally my top 3 favorite polish colors, so I was eager to try them! Let’s take a look at these…

Square Hue Samba Dance February 2017

Square Hue Volta

Square Hue Volta
Volta is best described as a bright orange jelly polish with orange and gold microglitter. A lovely formula that glides on smoothly and dries quickly. The gold microglitters give it a definite glowy appearance and the finish looks so squishy! In my swatches I’m wearing 2 coats with glossy top coat.

I just had to do some stamping over this amazing orange, so the “orange” images from UberChic plate 9-01 was the answer. Stamped with MdU Orange.

Square Hue Marchissi

Square Hue Marchissi
Marchissi is best described as a coral pink with gold shimmer. This polish is so gorgeous! Zero application issues to report. My swatches are 2 coats with glossy top coat.

This soft pretty coral pink feels like spring to me, so I stamped some flowers from Moyra Florality plate 1.

Square Hue Copas

Square Hue Copas
Copas is best described as a shamrock green micro shimmer polish. Another lovely formula, opaque in just one coat. I used 2 coats, just cause, but you can get away with one. Sealed with glossy top coat.

And of course the green made me think of leaves, so I stamped some leaves from Moyra Florality plate 2. I actually stamped these in white but this green is so intense that it turned my stamping green too. Thats okay though, I like the green look just as much!

Note: Upon removal of this polish (about 24 hours wear time over a base coat) I did have some yellow/green staining on my nails and cuticles. It wasn’t horrible, and cleaned up pretty quick with some cuticle remover. So consider yourself warned, the staining potential is definitely there with this shade.

Overall I would say this is one of my favorite boxes. Even with the staining from the green it’s still well worth it to me!

Until next time, stay polished!

  • I wish Marchissi was just a little more opaque. It’s so pretty but I won’t wear anything that shows the vnl.

  • Naked Without Polish

  • Copas is beautiful!

Those oranges stamped on are too damn cute, especially with how glowy the polish is!

I could live without the green but the other two are right up my alley!
