Square Hue Irish Stepdance ~ November 2017 Box

I finally had a moment to sit down and start watching Star Trek: Discovery today. My thoughts so far.. why did they go and mess with the klingons? I liked them the way they were. I’ll get over it though, it will be interesting to see what they do with this iteration. Will anyone else be watching it? We had to order a Fire TV to get CBS All Access, and we’ll suspend the account after we’re done watching it. Because you know.. can’t miss a Star Trek!

But for now it’s time to look at this months Square Hue box, the Irish Stepdance.

Square Hue Reel

Reel is best described as a deep oxblood creme. This is the perfect vampy fall creme! Flawless formula, covered easily in 2 coats.

SquareHue Hompipe

Hompipe is best described as a classic teal green. Watch for a little bit of cuticle staining with this one, and possibly some nail staining if you where it a while. Nice formula, opaque in 2 easy coats.

SquareHue Slipjig

Slipjig is best described as a vibrant orange creme. I can’t tell you how happy this shade makes me. It’s like instant smile! I want to wear it on my toes all summer long. Another flawless formula, 2 easy coats.

For my nail art this month I went with some color blocking. These shades are so complimentary that I wanted to show them all together. For this look I started with 2 coats of Hompipe on my index and little finger. One coat of white on my middle and ring finger. Once the white base was completely dry I used these stencils from Born Pretty Store for the color blocking. I then finished it off with a glossy top coat.

I wish it had turned out a little cleaner, but overall I’m fairly happy with it.

What do you think of this months colors? I love how perfectly they go together.

Square Hue is 7-free, cruelty free, and vegan. They offers 2 different subscription boxes, a 2 polish box and a 3 polish box starting from $16.00 a month. A portion of proceeds from each box subscription goes towards a specified cause which is human trafficking. Polish with a cause is always a win-win in my book. The only Star Trek I could get into is The Next Generation. And the new movies. Chris Pine- yum.

  • Jenalyn Pirosch

Holy mother of jesus, I need all three of these! I also need to sit down and watch any and all Star Trek stuffs. Eventually.

OMG! I fell in love with these colors! Definitely fall season this year is my favorite as I adore cold and sexy nail designs. From described in the article I would definitely try Reel, as it would suit as for sport style, as for business and casual. Were this long-lasting? I mean chip-free? I’m sticking to Essie gel polish eventually, as I’m very active in doing sports, gym, pool etc, so need quality and want to stay away of correction for +- 2-3 weeks ( these are my TOP order for nails: ). Can you recommend me additional options on brands for my nails, that offer cool cold pallet?
