The Digit-al Dozen does All that Glitters ~ MJ's Glove

It is Day 4 of ‘All That Glitters’ for the Digital Dozen. The Digital Dozen is a small group of highly skilled bloggers and nail artists who do 5 themed manis each month. The theme for January is ‘All That Glitters’ and I’ve thoroughly enjoyed both creating these looks and seeing everyone elses glitter creations! In an attempt to step outside the box on this one I was brainstorming about various things that glitter, aside from nail polish. Being a child of the 80’s I have always been a Michael Jackson fan. I had a life size wall poster of him up in my childhood bedroom. Too bad I don’t still have that! Now I know that things with Michael Jackson got weird as the years progressed but there is no denying that he was an incredibly talented artist. To this day his music is still some of my favorite. His far too early death was a tragedy and shook me to my very core. But I loved doing this mani, for both the glitter polishes, and as a sort of tribute to The King of Pop!

Fine detail brush

PixieDusts are amazing for glitter and I always love working in different textures in my art. On my index and little nail I stamped images from the Chez Delaney plate. (Believe it or not I started my manis so early that I had time for a 2 week wait on this specific plate!) For the glove I started with an outline and filled it in with another of my favorite glitters, Painted Polish Drunk on Holo.
