Anyone loving the HOT weather? I love Spring and Summer but 100 degree days with 60%+ humidity are for the birds. Actually its probably too hot for them even. I’m not usually one to complain about the weather, unless it’s really affecting my pain levels.. really hot, really cold, or really wet days are particularly hard. So I’m spending most of my time indoors right now trying to escape some of the heat. Still hoping to get out to the mountains and take a family trip to the river this year though. Soooo anyway today I have this awesome Labyrinth inspired collection from LynB Designs. I found a number of real favorites so let’s take a look!

Hoggle is Hoggle’s Friend is described as a orangey base loaded with orange to pink to gold flakes, and linear holo shimmer. I always love orange polish but this one has a bit of a tangerine shimmer that sets it apart. Flawless formula. My swatches show 2 coats with glossy top coat.

LynB Designs I Sir Didymus Yield to Thee

I Sir Didymus Yield to Thee is described as a bright green with intense red to gold shimmer and UCC 7 flakies. Jenna has been absolutely killing it with the flakies lately! This beauty is no exception. Stunning spring green with that gold to red shimmer makes this polish really stand apart! My swatches show 3 thin coats, but I almost could have got away with 2. Sealed with glossy top coat.

I Move the Stars for No One is described as a inky blue base with intense blue to green to violet shimmer, iridescent blue flakies, and holo shimmer. A deep and classy blue with a super easy formula. My swatches show 2 coats with glossy top coat.

LynB Designs Dance Magic Dance

Dance Magic Dance is described as a cornflower blue to pink thermal with red to blue shimmer and UCC 9 flakes. I painted this on my thumb while I was swatching the rest, so I could track the transition easier. The color transitioned perfectly very shortly after it dried. I also wore it for another day after and my pics show it’s natural state over that 24ish hour period. So zero struggling to get that perfect gradient/french tip look. My swatches show 2 coats with glossy top coat.

Everything’s Dancing is described as a pale pink with intense purple shimmer, holo shimmer, and chameleon shifting micro glitters. This is the only one in the group that gave me any trouble. It went on streaky in the first couple coats. It evened out by 3 coats but by then it had that “thick” feeling. So it’s not my personal fave, but I always encourage you to check other blogs and see if others had the same problems. My swatches show 3 coats with glossy top coat.
