Moonflower Polish The Gemstones Collection (Part One)

I love stamping. All forms of stamping. It is by far my favorite nail art medium. Like most of us stamping addicts I have a ton of stamping polishes from many different brands, some are great and some are not so great. I remember when M Polish released her first holo stamping polish, I thought I had died and gone to stamping heaven. I have been rationing those coveted bottles ever since she closed down as I haven’t found a new reliable holo stamping polish. That was until I tried this new collection from Moonflower polish. If you’re looking for a buttery smooth holo stamping polish that stamps perfectly every single time, then you may have just landed in the perfet spot at the perfect time. After the success of Enchanted Rose, Nadia’s August PPU contribution, she got a ton of requests for more holo stamping polishes with the same formula. So she made a whole collection of them!

Moonflower Polish The Gemstones Collection Part 1

Moonflower Polish Oro (Gold)
Moonflower Polish Oro Oro is described as a yellow gold holo stamping polish. For my swatches I stamped it over Tonic Polish Driad’s Grove using UberChic Lovely Leaves with a Clear Jelly Stamper. Moonflower Polish Oro Moonflower Polish Oro Moonflower Polish Oro Moonflower Polish Oro

Moonflower Polish Aguamarina (Aquamarine)
Moonflower Polish Aguamarina Aguamarina is described as an intense aqua/teal holo stamping polish. I found that these apply nicely as a regular polish while still stamping beautifully. For these swatches I stamped over Top Shelf Lacquer with UberChic 7-01 and a Clear Jelly Sample. Moonflower Polish Amatista (Amethyst)
Moonflower Polish Amatista

Amatista is described as a red leaning purple holo stamping polish. I was feeling the halloween vibe with this purple, but as it turns out orange pumpkins make more sense. For these swatches I stamped over Glam Polish Don’t You Want a Balloon? using UberChic Halloween 01 and a Clear  Jelly Stamper.

Moonflower Polish Diamante (Diamond)
Moonflower Polish Diamante

Diamante is described as a silver holo stamping polish. This one is best when stamped over black or white, so I chose Colors by Llarowe Black Gold Texas Tea for my swatches. Stamping plate UberChic Halloween 01 with a Clear Jelly Stamper.

Moonflower Polish Obsidiana (Obsidian)
Moonflower Polish Obsidiana

Obsidiana is described as a blue leaning black holo, to counteract the graying effect of Spectraflair. This is a fantastic black holo! Stamped over Quixotic Polish It Rubbed off from Friction with Lina Plates Feeling Shapely 01 and a Clear Jelly Stamper.

My thoughts: These had all a buttery smooth formula that seem best suited for stamping but can also be worn alone. I used a variety of plates and tested these with a number of stampers and had no issues at all. All of the above swatches are done with the Clear Jelly Stamper as that was my preference.
