Mauve-olous is described as a pink toned soft mauve creme. Smooth creamy formula. My swatches show 3 thin coats. Showed first in glossy, then in matte. I really love this in matte!
Sally Hansen Miracle Gel Apollo You Anywhere
Apollo You Anywhere is described as a coral creme with a fine gold shimmer. This color is gorgeous no matter what you do with it, but you do lose that very fine gold shimmer with the matte top coat. This is 2 coats, in glossy then in matte.
Sally Hansen Miracle Gel Out of this Pearl
Out of this Pearl is described as a light frosty beige with a pearl finish. This is not a polish I would reach for very much on its own, but I do like it better with the matte top coat. For one it hides the brush strokes. I could see wearing this with some black stamping with a matte finish. My swatches show 3 thin coats.
Sally Hansen Miracle Gel Beet Pray Love
Beet Pray Love is described as a red toned mid range mauve. This is a classic mid toned mauve and looks great both in glossy and matte. My swatches show 3 thin coats.
Sally Hansen Miracle Gel Can’t Beat Royalty
Can’t Beat Royalty is described as a garnet red jelly polish. This is a semi sheer jelly and while its mostly opaque in 3 coats it’s still a bit patchy, but it’s more visible to the camera than it is to the naked eye. Shown with glossy top coat, then matte top coat.
Sally Hansen Miracle Gel Wine Stock
Wine Stock is described as a deep wine red creme. A true vampy red! I can’t resist them, even during Springtime. This is 2 coats with glossy top coat, then matte top coat.
I mentioned at the beginning of this post that this matte top coat came at the perfect time. I recently discovered that my favorite matte top coat is no longer being made as the company is closing down. That leaves me with a slew of matte top coats most of which aren’t matte enough for my taste. I like a very matte finish, not a demi matte etc. But the new Sally Hansen Miracle Gel Top Coat is everything I look for in a matte finish.
