Luckey Lacquer

Luckey Lacquers ~ Scented Polishes

I recently received 3 glitter topper scented polish from Luckey Lacquers. I have a few other Luckey Lacquers in my stash, so I’m familiar with this brand and love their creative out-of-the-box polish.
The three I received to swatch are Beach Haven, Cross my Heart, and Teacher’s Pet.
What I love most about glitter bombs is trying different base colors and finding the perfect one!
Beach Haven
Beach Haven is a gorgeous combination of blue and gold shimmer, and black, blue and white glitter. Zoya Bevin turned out to be a great base color for this, and really accented all that shimmering glitter.
The swatches below are 2 coats over Zoya Bevin. Topped with HK Girl Glisten & Glow.

Cross my Heart
Cross my heart is a combination of red, white, and pink hearts, white bar glitter, tons of pink shimmer and red and pink hex glitter; all coming together to create this beautiful topper that just screams love. And when it drys, smells like bubblegum. Mmmm, yum. 🙂
My swatches below are 2 coats over Salon Perfect Pocketful of Posies. Some fishing and placing of glitters is required on this one, but that’s to be expected with those larger glitters. Finished off with Seche Vite topcoat.

Teacher’s Pet
Red shimmery microglitters and gold stars make up this shimmery glitter polish. When dry this polish smells like crisp red apples. This one did require quite a bit of fishing to get the gold stars out, but I learned to shake and hold upside down a few minutes after every few nails and that seemed to do the trick.
The swatches below are 1+ coat (plus is the fishing for stars) over a base color of Zoya Raven. One coat of Seche Vite finished it off.

I would have to say my favorite from these is Beach Haven, I love the color combinations and it gives nice clean coverage with no fishing required. Do you have a favorite from these swatches? I always love to hear from you!
