Stached Polish ~ Swatch and Review

Today I have the debut launch from Stached Polish. Holly is the talent and brains behind this new brand, and the first thing I noticed about Holly is that she had really done her homework. She wasn’t blindly jumping into this indie venture, and this was clear in the quality of her polish too. She has really put some thought and love into each of these bottles and it comes through when using them. Now let’s get to the swatches!

First I have Planetary Resources, Intergalactic Minister of Space Travel, and  Technological Development; all inspired by the series Starstruck by Brenda Hiatt.

Planetary Resources
Planetary Resources is a slightly muted fuchsia pink crelly, it reaches full opacity in 3 thin coats but still gives you all the depth and brilliant shine that a jelly polish does. The formula was smooth and easy to work with. The swatches below are 3 coats with HK Girl top coat.

Intergalactic Minister of Space Travel
Intergalactic Minister of Space Travel is a medium sky blue scattered holographic. Again my swatch is 3 thin coats, although you can probably get away with 2 coats. No formula issues to report. HK Girl top coat.

Technological Development
Technological Development is a white crelly base with small red holographic glitter. For this swatch I did 3 thin coats over a clear base, but could easily do 2 coats over a white base. I opted for more coats as I love the look of the layered glitter. HK Girl top coat.

Next to show you I have The Ministry, St. Mungo’s, and Heartbreak Teardrop; all inspired by Harry Potter.

The Ministry
The Ministry is a plum purple linear holographic polish. A truly unique color that is sure to draw your eye. The formula on this one was smooth and easy to apply. 2 coats with HK Girl top coat.

St. Mungo’s
St. Mungo’s is a white crelly base with small purple glitters and 2 sizes of spring green glitters. The formula on this was a tad bit thick, but nothing a drop or two of thinner won’t fix. (Although I have it on good authority the final bottles will be made with a slightly thinner base.) My swatches are 2 coats with HK Girl top coat.

Heartbreak Teardrops
Heartbreak Teardrops is a bright red crelly base with very fine holographic glitter. Full opacity in 3 thin coats and HK Girl top coat.

And lastly, The Hobbiton, inspired by Lord of the Rings of course.

The Hobbiton is an orange-leaning sunny yellow jelly base with small round holographic green glitter and larger hex green glitter. As hard as it is for fair skinned women like myself to pull off a yellow polish, I love this one for 2 reasons. 1) It has just enough orange tint to where I don’t look dead wearing it; and 2) it’s adorable like Frodo himself.
Now obviously at 3 coats this one is still sheer, so if you have longer nails or dislike VNL you will want to layer it over a yellow of your choice.

So there you have it, 7 of the debut launch polishes from the new Stached Polish. Which are your favorites? It’s very hard for me to pick a favorite; but I think I will go with The Ministry followed very closely by either Planetary Resources or Intergalactic Minister of Space Travel. I do really like St. Mungo’s too though as I love the color combination. So hard to pick!

There are also a few more that are scheduled to debut with these on April 24th, so mark your calendar!

In the meantime you should stalk Stached Polish on social media to keep up to date with anything new.
