Nail Art

Monthly Mani Favorites ~ May

Another month has come and gone! Seems the older we get the faster time seems to pass, which I’m not sure is good or bad or just is. Anyway, I didn’t get a lot of nail art done this month as I had so much swatching to do, but some of the ones I did get done I really love. Check them out!

The first one, which I think never even got posted, is Shinespark Polish Max Splash with some lined up stamping with MdU white.

This next one was my entry in #bomnailartmay the prompt was ‘triangles’. This is Black Cat Laquer Spectral stamped with Konad black.

It’s rare that I choose a single color mani as a monthly favorite, as I love nail art so much. But this polish just blew me out of the water. I didn’t get to wear it long as I was swatching, but I literally can’t stop staring at my swatch pic. I love it that much! This is Big T Ranch Surf’s Up.

This next mani was inspired by 2 polishes I was swatching. They happened to go so well together and the sunflower was meant to be. Polishes used in this mani are Zoya Juliette, Big T Ranch Cinnamon (press sample), and DD Lacquer Sunflower Power

This next mani was my first time doing a radial gradient, and I love how it turned out!
I want to do another like this soon!
Polishes used are Zoya Flora, Zoya Dita, and Zoya Livingston.

The month of May is for Fibromyalgia Awareness, and being that this illness affects me every single day I really wanted a way to express this cause. I started a tag of #PurpleNailsforFibro and spread the word. Lots of wonderful ladies came through with their purple awareness mani’s, and this was mine.

This next mani was a Twin Nails Mani with an awesome polish friend of mine. We had each recently purchased the Mentality Neon Jelly Holos, and this was the mani we decided on. This was fun!

And last but certainly not least, this was a kaleidoscope mani for the weekly theme challenge in TRNA. I used 4 of the Different Dimension 80’s Baby Neons. I created decals for each nail with a different kaleidoscope stamp image.

Hope you enjoyed this little recap of my May mani’s. And I don’t know about you but I’m ready for June!

Until next time, stay polished!
