Sinful Colors “A Class Act” Back to School Collection

Good morning everyone! I hope you all had a great weekend. Today I have 10 polishes from the SinfulColors “A Class Act” Back to School Collection to show you. Today actually is back to school day here, even though summer is only half over! I imagine parents everywhere are breathing a little sigh of relief. But anyway, let’s look at some polish!
(This is a photo heavy post, but its worth it I promise!)

Back to School 2015 from SinfulColors ~ A Class Act
Get ready to hit the books and go back to school in style with the latest collection for Back To School from SinfulColors, A Class Act. The extensive array of fresh shades are perfectly on-trend with the latest fall fashions and will ensure that your mani is top of the class. Dusty pastels and pops of color come in a demi-matte finish that feels soft yet looks striking and is deserving of nothing but straight A’s.  Denim blues and ready-to-burst brights capture an effortlessly cool and rebellious vibe, while shimmering silvers, purples and teals with eye catching 3D glitters look just as chic during a night out on the town as they do in class the next day.”

Summer S-cool
Summer S-cool is described as a Robins Egg Blue creme. Easy smooth formula, 2 coats plus OTD top coat.

Truth or Laven-DARE (Demi Matte)
Truth or Laven-DARE is a demi matte creme lavender. 2 coats. First set of pictures is no top coat, second set is with top coat.

Truth or Laven-DARE (w top coat)

RAD-ient (Demi Matte)
RAD-ient is a vibrant raspberry with a demi matte finish. This had a jelly/crelly like formula, which I love, but as you can see it’s still quite sheer at 3 coats. It’s such a beautiful color though I will still wear it with a base or layered with some glitter. This is 3 coats no top coat, then 3 coats with top coat.

RAD-ient (with top coat)

Hazed (Demi Matte)
Hazed is described as a subdued violet with a demi matte finish. Hazed also has a jelly/crelly like formula, some visible nail line at 3 coats, but not as much as RAD-ient. 3 coats no top coat, then with top coat.

Hazed (with top coat)

Night Owl (layered over Hazed)
Night Owl is described as a multi color gilded 3D glitter. This has small bar glitter, microglitters, and flakies. No fishing for glitters here, it is jam packed with glitter! One coat over Hazed, with OTD top coat.

Sinful Sunrise (w matte top coat)
Sinful Sunrise is described as a warm pink with 3D silver confetti. This has iridescent glitters, small bar glitters, and flakies. Shown here is one coat over RAD-ient with matte top coat. I *love* this look! And see how you barely notice any visible nail line now.

Chalk it Up (Demi Matte)
Chalk it Up is described as a saturated demi matte pistachio green. This is my favorite color of green! Again, 2 easy coats. Goes on a little streaky with the first coat, but the second coat smooths it out beautifully. No top coat, then with OTD top coat.

Chalk it Up (with top coat)

Late Night Haute (w matte top coat)
Late Night Haute is described as a turquoise and gold-flecked 3D glitter. No fishing at all, it’s jam packed with glitter! Shown here is one coat over a navy blue, with matte top coat.

Ice Blue
Ice Blue is described as a soft indigo exploding with silver sparkle. I found this one to be quite sheer too, my swatches are 3 coats with OTD top coat. It went on easy and smooth though.

Pink Break (Demi Matte)
Pink Break is described as a demi matte peachy pink. This is another of my favorites, this color is beautiful and complimentary for many skin tones. My swatches are 2 coats, first without top coat then with OTD top coat. The matte finish isn’t as pronounced on this one as some of the others.

Pink Break (w top coat)

Pros: Smooth easy formula across all of these. The glitter toppers provide a fun versatile option and could be used with any of your favorite SinfulColor polishes.

Cons: A few were a little more sheer than I would like, but the color payoff is more than enough to layer with other polishes.

My Thoughts: SinfulColors is a great well known brand with a very reasonable price point. Once rated a Best Buy from Consumer Reports, you really can’t go wrong with SinfulColors polish.

“A Class Act” Back to School Collection can be found at mass retailers such as Walgreens, Target, and Walmart through August and September. They retail for $1.99.
