Recently Colors by Llarowe released their first line of holographic stamping polishes. With holographic stamping polishes beginning to take hold in the polish community, many were understandably excited by this. I initially planned to purchase most if not all of the collection, but then life happened. With 2 sick dogs in 2 weeks, 5 vet visits, a half dozen prescriptions, one surgery, and a full night of boarding… my polish budget took a big hit!
Since I already have a large collection of CbL polishes I decided to start testing how some of them stamp. Let’s take a look at this mani!
For this mani I started with 2 coats of *Sassy Pants Polish Tease, which is a bright pink with a strong blue flash of shimmer. I knew I wanted to stamp with blue so I pulled out Colors by Llarowe Thunder Shake.
You can see that this polish stamps beautifully, I got a near perfect image the first time. The plate I used for this is Moyra Ornaments plate 03. Then to tie it all together I put 3 small dots at the base of my other nails. It could have done without, but I like it either way!
