DaniPro Infused Nail Polish ~ Swatch and Review

Well, It’s Friday. We survived another week. For the last 2 weeks we’ve been taking care of a little Shih Tzu named Chloe, she’s my SIL’s dog but her life is a mess right now so Chloe is staying with us. She is getting spayed today, and recovering over the weekend. So with our 5 dogs, plus Chloe, our home is a bigger circus than normal! But it’s a circus filled with unconditional love so I wouldn’t have it any other way.

So today I have something totally new to show you; the newest doctor created antifungal infused nail polish…

daniPro doctor created nail polish

From the daniPro Press Release

“daniPro – The NEWEST Doctor-Created Toxin-Free Polish Infused with Undecylenic Acid*. Manhattan Podiatrist, Dr. Gary Evans named daniPro after his daughter, Danielle. daniPro is the only doctor created nail polish infused with Undecylenic acid* and is completely free of damaging chemicals found in so many popular brands today. daniPro does not contain Formaldehyde, Formaldehyde Resin, Toluene, TPHP, or DBP.”

*Undecylenic acid is not proven effective in treating fungus on the nails.

daniPro First Kiss

First Kiss is a classic red creme with slight orange undertones. This is 3 coats  topped with daniPro top coat. I found the formula to be a bit patchy and didn’t self level on its own, but the daniPro top coat leveled it out nicely.

daniPro My Girl

My Girl is a medium pink creme perfect for summer. I love this color. My swatches show 3 coats with daniPro top coat. This was the best formula from the 3, but it did require 3 coats to get even full coverage.

daniPro Forever Girl

Forever Girl is a pastel pink creme. My swatches show 3 coats with daniPro top coat. Unfortunately I had a lot of trouble with the formula, it was quite patchy and I experienced some dragging. 3 coats for full coverage, the top coat helped even out the coverage.

daniPro, recently recognized by the American Podiatric Medical Association, is said to be beneficial to foot health when used consistently with an applied program of daily foot care and regular professional treatment. They currently offer 20 core colors ranging from soft neutrals to bright bold colors. Available at select podiatrist office globally and at www.daniProNails.com. SRP for each .5 oz bottle is $18.00.

My Thoughts: I did have some trouble with the formula, especially on Forever Girl, it definitely required some extra finesse which I imagine would be just that much harder trying to reach your toes (depending on body shape of course! 😂) They are cruelty-free and 5 free, so definite bonus points for that, but that’s also not real hard to find in polish these days. For me personally, I find the $18 price tag to be a little steep. But… if you or someone you know is very prone to nail fungus, and found these to be beneficial in keeping it under control, then they may very well be worth it. My niece struggles with nail fungus, so I will be passing these on for her to try. If she finds them beneficial I will update this post at a later date.

In the meantime, pop on over to the daniPro website to see what other colors they offer.

I will leave you with some simple nail art using My Girl.

Until next time, stay polished!

  • Melissa

Well, these are the best swatches I have seen of these polish but I don’t think I would be rushing out to buy them.

  • Tracey

I agree your swatches are pretty but this polish doesn’t wow me x

  • I was so disappointed in these! 🙁

  • I actually really liked all of mine when I swatched them. I thought they were easy to use and though they were sheer, I didn’t have any problems getting three coats!
