On Tuesday this week I showed you the Blush Lacquer Fantasy polish, Aurora Borealis, and I promised another stunning collection coming up. True to my word here is the Ballroom Bling collection today. I have lots of pretty pictures ahead, but first I want to tell you a little about this collection.
The Ballroom Bling Collection is inspired by ballroom dancing. To those of you who don’t know, Victoria was a professional ballroom dancer, so this collection which is full of glitter and shimmer combines her love of dancing and pretty polishes! And it’s no accident that it is releasing the same week that Dancing with the Stars started.
Now let’s jump right into the pictures…
Blush Lacquers Don’t Forget your Ballgown
Don’t Forget your Ballgown is described as soft periwinkle blue with a violet shimmer and some fine holo dust. Dries with a satiny-matte finish. This is just like Cindarella’s dress! 3 thin coats for full coverage.
Blush Lacquers Jump, Jive, and Wail!
Jump, Jive, and Wail! is described as a glitterbomb filled with sky blue, baby pink, sapphire and silver holographic glitters of all sizes and a dusting of scattered holo. Shown here with one coat over Don’t Forget your Ballgown, and 2 sponged on coats on my accent nail.
Blush Lacquers We Like to Move It, Move It!
We Like to Move It, Move It! is described as a glitter bomb with red, orange, pink, gold and blue holographic glitters of all sizes. This polish was inspired by one of Victoria’s favorite dances, the samba. Here I have it layered over Blush Lacquers Atlantia Swift, and sponged on in 2 coats for my accent nail.
(And bonus points for anyone that now has that song in their head! LOL)
Blush Lacquers Mirrorball
Mirrorball is described as a silvery white polish with holographic silver flakies and holographic silver hexes. This is such a gorgeous polish! Shown here in 3 thin coats with glossy top coat.
Blush Lacquers Dance Floor Lovers
Dance Floor Lovers is described as a rich and luxurious berry wine color with a red shimmer, black holo glitters and scattered holo. A must have for vampy polish lovers! This one was inspired by Victoria’s favorite ballroom dance, the rumba. Shown here in 3 thin coats with glossy top coat.
Blush Lacquers Skintone Rhinestones
Skintone Rhinestones is described as a coppery-rosey polish with gold, pink and silver holo glitters in it. On some skintones though, like mine, it’s a perfect sparkly nude holo. Gorgeous mannequin hands! 3 thin coats with glossy top coat.
My Thoughts: Victoria has shown us once again that she really masters a wide variety of polishes. From cremes to crellies, shimmers to glitterbombs, and holos to microglitters she has a consistent easy smooth formula. I found these to dry very quickly, so even the few that needed 3 coats still apply in a breeze. Victoria is establishing a reputation and a brand, and seems to be excelling at both.
This collection will be available at midnight EST on Friday, September 16th. Individual polishes will retail for $9 each or $54 for the 6 piece collection.
And since the release of this collection coincides with Polish Con, and undoubtably some of us can’t make it to Chicago, Victoria is having a 3 day sale for those of us staying home that weekend. But of course it’s open to Polish Con attendee’s as well! 🙂
Polish Con Sale: Save 15% off a $27 minimum order (3 polishes) with code MISSINGPC15.

Until next time, stay polished!
