I was recently contacted by Mont Bleu asking if I would review some of their crystal nail files. Being a long time Mont Bleu fan I was grateful for the opportunity to share them with you all. Swarovski crystal nail files are the flagship of the Mont Bleu line. Swarovski crystals are pieced together to create eye-catching designs.

Designs are available in roughly two dozen styles on both transparent or colored  files.

Glass Foot File
Glass foot nail files are specially made for removing calluses or hard skin from the sole of your feet. The glass surface gently removes excess skin, without cutting or damaging the skin.

Glass Dual-End Cuticle Pusher
This dual-end cuticle pusher is designed to push back soft or hard cuticles. The hand finished glass features a rounded head for gentle nudging of the cuticle, and a pointed end is for cleaning the nail edges. The ends are textured and have an abrasive surface for precise control.

Mini Glass File with Protective Sleeve
This glass file is a low cost option, and is a small size perfect for carrying with you on the go. I always have one of these in my purse!

My Thoughts:  I’ve been using Mont Bleu files exclusively since hearing about glass files a few years ago. They are well known for being one of the premier makers of crystal glass files. And like many, I haven’t touched an emory board since. Mont Bleu files last a very long time, with just an ocassional wash with soap and water. They are also far less prone to cause any splitting when filing your nails (Pro Tip: Always file your nails with polish on to further protect your nails from any splitting or peeling.)

If you haven’t tried a glass nail file yet I highly recommend trying one. My personal favorites are the luxury files decorated with swarovski crystals, but all Mont Bleu products are of the same high quality.
