I have more Blush beauties to show you all today. Okay, technically just one today but another collection later in the week. That gives you something to look forward to! So today I have the August Fantasy Polish to show you. Read on to find out how the monthly fantasy polish works…

What is the Blush fantasy polish?
Every month Victoria from Blush Lacquers holds a ‘What’s Your Fantasy Polish’ contest on IG for people to submit their dream polish ideas. The ideas are then voted on and the winning idea is then turned into a polish! The final polish is then available for purchase the following month. Today I have the August  fantasy polish to show you. The July polish can be seen here and is available for pre-order. 

Blush Lacquers Aurora Borealis
Aurora Borealis is described as a dark purple based polish with a pink shimmer and blue/green flakies. Shown below with 3 thin coats plus top coat.

So I’m definitely one of those Matte. All. The. Flakies. girls, but that was before I met this polish. I just could not bring myself to matte this polish. I tried. Just couldn’t do it. 

First it’s this perfect mid range purple, then you have the pretty pink contrasting shimmer. And last but certainly not least are the eye-catching blue and green flakes. Notice I said eye-catching? That’s because you can’t miss these stunning flakies! And that is exactly the reason I couldn’t bring myself to put a matte top coat on it. These flakies don’t need any help to really pop, they’ve got it covered.

Maybe I will try that matte top coat next time I wear this polish, which undoubtably be soon.
