The Band Wagon is a 1953 musical comedy film directed by Vincente Minnelli, starring Fred Astaire and Cyd Charisse. It is regarded as one of the finest of the Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer musicals, although it was only a modest box-office success on first release.
In 1995, The Band Wagon was selected for preservation in the United States National Film Registry by the Library of Congress as being “culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant”. In 2006, this film ranked #17 on the American Film Institute’s list of best musicals.
Blush Lacquers Hop on the Bandwagon
Hop on the Bandwagon is described as a light silvery blue holo with a golden green shimmer and red and blue holo glitters. Is this not absolutely gorgeous? It has a nice strong holo flame and the colored holo glitters really give it that extra pizazz!
For my swatches I’m wearing 3 coats with glossy top coat. I do still have some VNL at 3 coats but with my super opaque nails that is pretty much to be expected.
