April Polish Pickup ~ LynB Designs Simply Crabulous & Personal Oil Diffuser

Last month I purchased a weeee bit too much polish, which I kinda love doing, but it did mean I found myself with very little budget left for Polish Pickup. I’ve never been particularly successful with limiting my purchases (my hubby is a saint!) but every once in a while I like to impress him with my willpower. So.. I bought NOTHING from Polish Pickup! Nada. Zip. Zilch. Well thank goodness I don’t have to do that again because the Across the Universe theme is killing it! I’ve only seen a few polishes so far, but every single one has been amazing. 😍

LynB Designs Simply Crabulous & Personal Oil Diffuser

Jenna with LynBDesigns chose the Crab Nebula as her inspiration.

From Jenna:

“I’ve been obsessed with space since I was little, and the Crab Nebula has always been a favorite of mine. In art class we were asked to pick one of our favorite pictures for project inspiration. I chose this exact photo. I wound up doing an abstract painting since I can’t paint still life for crap, but this remains one of my all time favorite space related things.”

Simply Crabulous is described as a deep purple crelly base with added red to gold to green to violet shifting flakies and the smallest of holographic shimmers.

I absolutely love this polish! The shifting flakes against the deep purple give it a glowing from within look. Formula was super creamy and perfect to work with. My swatches show 2 coats with glossy top coat.

Simply Crabulous will retail for $12 with no cap.

This will also be the first month that Jenna has offered a non polish item. She will have personal essential oil diffusers available for $5.50 with no cap. She has created her own citrus scent a custom blend of lime, orange, lemon, and grapefruit.

Citrus scents are definitely my thing and I loved this. I’ve kept it on my swatching desk  and very much enjoyed it. It is calming and uplifting.

LynB Designs Personal Diffuser

“Universal Calm ~ The universe can be so calming and I used that to inspire my first non polish item for PPU. I love diffusing essential oils and wish I could bring one wherever I go. Sadly, that’s impractical, so I found personal diffusers or inhalers, if you will. I blended some of my favorite citrus oils (lime, orange, lemon, and grapefruit) to make an aroma that’s both calming and uplifting. I like to keep one in my handbag or pocket at all times.”

Simply Crabulous and the Personal Oil Diffuser will only be available through The Polish Pickup Friday, April 6th at 11am EST through Monday, April 9th at 11:59pm EST. The Simply Crabulous polish will retail for $12.00, the Personal Oil Diffuser will retail for $5.50 and there will be no cap for either this month.

US shipping is a flat rate of $3 no matter how many polishes you buy. For more information on The Polish Pickup check out their website or their Facebook Group here.

Until next time, stay polished!

  • Tracey

Such fab inspiration and colour. Also loving how you can see all the flecks of colour in your macro shots ♡

  • That purple is amazing! I’ve never gotten into essential oils most likely because I have been seriously turned off by MLM weirdos who try get everyone to try them. However, the scent blend you described is right up my alley so I’m tempted. Lately I’ve been having problems with people at work using oils and sprays. They usually give me such a headache. Luckily, I work from home most of the time.

  • This is a real beauty. Those flakies and that purple complement each other perfectly.

  • Ehmkay Nails

I like that the purple base is vibrant! It makes the flakes pop too

  • Love the polish and the idea of the personal diffuser.

There is sooooo much depth and awesomeness going on in the polish, without it just being a glitter bomb. I love it!
