Digital Dozen May Birthday Manicure

Hi ladies! As the month comes to a close it’s time for the Digit-al Dozen birthday manicure. I didn’t get last month done, but as soon as I saw the inspiration for this month I had to immediately jump right in to creating this mani. I absolutely love fluid art, and I’ve been trying to do more so this was the perfect challenge for me.

Our Digital Dozen birthday lady this month is Oksana, the amazing talent behind The Polished Koi. She chose this amazing fluid art as our inspiration. How pretty is this?!

So here is my final mani. It is my second attempt, I wasn’t able to get the cells in my first try so I nixed it. I am very pleased with how this one turned out though!

How great does this match the inspiration?

I then decided to add some stamping for a completely different look, and for whatever reason I was really feeling these urban grunge type images from Lina Stamping Plates. For this I did some stamping with Lina Plates Make your Mark 01 & 03 using Color Club White Coated. This look is totally out of my box, but that may be the reason I like it.

These really match the inspiration, The stamping is pretty especially the brick wall, but I would probably go without it.

  • Stunning! I actually love it a lot more without the stamping.
