Don Deeva August Releases ~ Group Customs ~ Exclusive

Don’t you hate it when you break a nail? It doesn’t happen to me too often, but I just hate it when it does cause it means filing down. So I’m sporting a new shorter length today. I love this length on others, but I really don’t like it on myself. Really really don’t. Ugh. But my nails usually grow pretty fast so heres hoping! Today I have the August releases from The Don Deeva to show you. This is mostly my first experience with Don Deeva polishes. I purchased the UP Jelly Jints last year and I’ve only used them for some leadlighting, so this is my first time swatching and wearing any. Read on to see what I thought.

Don Deeva Nudie Judie
Don Deeva Nudie Judie

Nudie Judie is described as a softy peachy rose dusted crelly with UCC flakes and green gold shimmer throughout. This had a nice consistency and applied beautifully in just 2 coats. Sealed with glossy top coat.

Retail: $11.00

Don Deeva Stillet-Ho
Don Deeva Stillet-Ho

Stillet-Ho is described as a lavendar based jelly polish loaded with shifty flakes, holo flakes, and shimmer throughout. I knew I would have some VNL with this one, but thats to be expected with my very opaque free edge. I suspect it would look amazing layered over another polish as well. Nice formula with no application issues. My swatches show 3 coats with glossy top coat.

Retail: $11.00

Fifty Shades of Deeva is described as a silver-ish base with pink and gold chrome shift and strong holo shimmer. Another smooth easy formula. My swatches show 3 coats with glossy top coat.

Retail: $12.00

Don Deeva Jersey Girl After Dark
Don Deeva Jersey Girl After Dark

Jersey Girl After Dark is described as a black jelly base filled with silver holo microglitter. Who wants some sparkle?! I almost got away with 2 coats on this one, but the camera picks up everything so this is 3 coats. It dries to a textured finish due to the glitter load, so you will need a high quality top coat for a smooth finish. Sealed with glossy top coat.

Retail: $11.00

Don Deeva Cereal Killer
Don Deeva Cereal Killer

Cereal Killer is described as a GITD blurple jelly base with copper/green/gold UCC flakes and aurora pigment. I didn’t notice this was a glow until after I swatched it, so unfortunately I don’t have any glowing swatches. It is gorgeous just the way it is though! This is 3 easy coats with glossy top coat.

Retail: $12.00

Don Deeva Your Vajesty
Don Deeva Your Vajesty

Your Vajesty is described as a stunning plum/copper/gold/green/pink multichrome magnetic with original unicorn pee pigment. I will be the first to admit that I’ve been ready for the magnetic phase to be over.. but holy cow is this one gorgeous! It just blew me away, which is only the second magnetic polish to really wow me all year. Really. I applied 2 thin coats initially. I then used one thicker coat and applied the magnet (20-30 seconds) immediately, one nail at a time. After applying my top coat I held the magnet over each nail another 15-20 seconds.

Retail: $20.00

Don Deeva It's Easy as ABC

Retail: $14.00 (Charity polish)

All of these released on Friday, August 10th and are available now. No waiting! Isn’t that fun? You will need to be a member of the Deeva La Familia Facebook Group in order to purchase the group customs, the others are open to anyone. To my understanding most of her releases are considered limited edition, which means they may not be restocked. If you can’t live without these I would grab them while you can!
