Hi friends! Today I have LynB Designs newest collection to show you. The Shade of it All Collection is based on the reality TV show RuPaul’s Drag Race. Don’t know what it is? Good, neither do I. I did my due diligence in Wiki though.

RuPaul’s Drag Race is an Emmy-winning series that returns for it’s milestone 10th season this year. A cast of 14 talented drag queens compete for the coveted title of America’s Next Drag Superstar and a cash prize of $100,000. Regulars Michelle Visage, Carson Kressley and Ross Mathews join Ru on the judges’ panel to decide who stays, who lip syncs for his or her life, or who “sashays away.”

I must say anything that lasts 10 seasons has something to offer. I probably should see what I’m missing. In the meantime let’s check out this collection.

Death Drop is described as a watermelon pink base with green to pink to white shifting shimmer, linear holo, and lime green galaxy glitter. The formula was a little thick but still easy enough to work with. It was surprisingly opaque and easily covered in 2 coats. Sealed with glossy top coat.

LynB Designs Not Today, Satan
LynB Designs Not Today, Satan

Not Today, Satan is described as a deep abyss blue base with Gold to bronze to silver UCC flakes, pink iridescent flakies, and purple to pink sparkle shimmer. I love everything about this deep blue jelly. Formula was nice. My swatches show 3 coats with glossy top coat.

LynB Designs Sashay Away

Sashay Away is described as a pale mint green base loaded with pinky/red shimmer, purple iridescent micro flakes, and a smattering of teal holo micro glitter. As soon as I put this on it reminded me of the classic Deborah Lippmans Mermaid Dream, it’s like the creamy cousin. Beautiful! This is 3 coats with glossy top coat.

You Better Work is described as a orange to violet photochrome (solar) base with a rainbow of iridescent flakes, and green to red to silver shifting shimmer. This is really my kind of color, but walk outside and it totally transforms. Indoor/Outdoor swatches below, or watch it transform live in this quick vid.

Lip Sync for your Life is described as a blue toned purple crelly base with aqua to purple to pink to orange shifting shimmer, holo micro shimmer, and iridescent blue flakes. I love how shimmery and shifty this is. Is it purple? Is it blue? Yes. This is 3 coats with glossy top coat.

Shante, You Stay is described as a pink to purple to blue white multichrome with scattered holo micro shimmer. Another absolute beauty! This classy unique white applied easily in 3 thin coats. Sealed with glossy top coat.
