Polish Pickup ~ LynB Designs Don’t Torture Yourself, That’s my Job

So by now you’ve probably heard all about Polish Pickup. But have you heard about Indie Pickup? The Polish Pickup grew so much over the last year or so that the ladies at Polish Pickup chose to break up the sales a little. They also wanted The Polish Pickup to get back to its roots.. polish. So all handmade non polish indie items will be available on the 3rd weekend of the each month now. It gives makers a little time to spread things out, and it gives buyers a chance to budget the dollars accordingly. The initial Indie Pickup was last month and it was actually almost over by the time I realized it. So mark your calendars! Today I have LynB Designs contributions to both Polish Pickup and Indie Pickup. I’ll have more details at the end of this post. But for now let’s take a look! LynB Designs Don’t Torture Yourself, That’s my Job

As you probably know the theme this month is Horror Movies and Jenna chose The Addams Family as her inspiration. This is named for the famous quote by Morticia “Don’t Torture Yourself, Gomez. That’s my job.”

LynB Designs Don’t Torture Yourself, That’s my Job
LynB Designs Don’t Torture Yourself, That’s my Job Don’t Torture Yourself, That’s my Job is described as a deep black to red thermal base with orange to pink to gold colorshifting flakes, and holo micro shimmer. To me this is pink to deep brown, and didn’t deepen further than this. With that being said I love this just like it is! Jenna just recently started making thermals and she’s killing it!

The formula on Don’t Torture Yourself, That’s my Job was a nice consistency that spread across the nail easily with minimal brush strokes. I use quite thin coats and I usually find that 3 coats is perfect for me. A slightly heavier hand is probably going to be fine with 2 coats. Sealed with glossy top coat.

  • The Asian Girl

I love the name so much! My husband says we’re Morticia and Gomez…which is funny because he has a model train collection and I knit.

  • Those flakies are absolutely stunning, especially when the polish is the darker color! The perfume sounds really interesting too!

  • Kristi Vasquez

I love that she picked a tame scary movie. Those are the only ones I’ll be purchasing. 🙂 Can’t handle the super scary. Plus this is gorgeous!
