The Digit-al Dozen does Textured Nails: Textured Valentine's Day One

Hi friends! It’s Digital Dozen week and I’m glad to be here. As you probably remember I took 2 weeks off of nails and blogging last month, and I just got back on Monday. Well when Friday morning rolled around and I had no manis done and still a bunch of swatch mail waiting on me, I was afraid I was going to have to sit this week out. I certainly didn’t have time to plan out a lot of complex manis, but I decided I could get 5 simpler manis done, and would rather do that than have to skip the whole week. Originally I had lots of different ideas, which I will work on eventually. For this week I did decide to go with a Valentine’s Day theme as well, as it seemed appropriate, but it is not part of the overall Textured Nails prompt.

I have always loved stamping over textured polishes, although sometimes it can be a little hard to make out the images. In this case the gold stamping reads ‘With Love’ and the smooth nail is stamped with ‘Muah!’

I just recently picked up L’Oreal Sexy in Sequins, it was part of their Gold Dust Collection released in 2014. It is a stunning medium purple microglitter base with purple glitters sprinkled throughout and is packed with multi-colored shimmer. I was looking at swatches of the Essie Concrete Glitters Collection and came across these L’Oreals as well, needless to say I am now the proud owner of all that I could find moderately overpriced on ebay. So far they are well worth it! 🙂
