The Digit-al Dozen does Textured Nails: Textured Valentine’s Day Two

So it’s Day 2 of the February Digital Dozen and this month the theme is Textured Nails. For these themes that are fairly open ended I like to choose a secondary theme so my manis don’t seem totally random, and holidays are a great theme-within-a-theme so I’m bringing you Textured Valentine’s Day Nails all week. Now let’s jump into my Day Two nails.

Todays mani features the imfamous OPI Pussy Galore. I bought this polish years ago when I first got big into nail polish and everyone was talking about it. I was very easily swayed, and still am actually. What may surprise you (or maybe not if you know me well) is this is the first time I’ve pulled it out to use. But it’s such a popular textured polish that I couldn’t let this week go by without using it.

  • OPI Pussy Galore
  • Sally Hansen Crayola Wild Strawberry
  • Clear Jelly Stamper
  • Dotting Tool
  • Lina Plates Make Your Mark 03


I started with 3 thin coats of Zoya Eden on all of my nails, stamped on the heart image from Lina Make Your Mark 03. After top coating that I filled in each of the hearts with OPI Pussy Galore using a fine dotting tool. To give it more texture I went back over each heart a second time.
