August Monthly Mani Favorites

Wow another month come and gone! We’re inching closer and closer to Christmas and part of me is still stuck back in January. I suspect part of me will always be stuck in last January though, that was one of my hardest months ever and one of those life experiences you can never forget no matter how much you want to.

Anyway, let’s check out my Monthly Mani Favorites for August.

I’m going to start in the middle then work left to right from the top down.

Aztec Nails: these were so much to do and I actually have a how-to for these here. Step-by-step how to here.

Sheer Lace Nails: These were done for a stamping challenge. Couple coats
of Zoya Lucy on my nails, stamped with MdU White and then 2 more coats of Zoya Lucy.

Blobbicure Nails: These were done for a new technique challenge and I will
say that this technique is much harder than it looks. While I love how it turned out,
it’s not a mani I will be repeating anytime soon.

Summer Gradient: This was actually the base for another mani but the colors
just fade right into each other so smoothly. As of right now this mani has
surpassed my previous record for the most likes on Instagram. Polishes
used are KB Shimmer Leggo my Mango, Bahama Drama,
and Sarong Place Sarong Time.

Bollywood Nails: I didn’t set out to create Bollywood style nails, but someone
said that’s what they reminded them of and I agree. Such a unique look too. Details here.

Orange Leadlighting: I just did this mani last week and just loved it. The orange
is Sally Hansen Taheiti. I did the led lighting with Zoya Diana and Zoya Caroline. Details here.

Sea Themed Nails: I created this look while I was reviewing the starfish
studs for Born Pretty Store. You can see all the details here

Water Decals: This was another one for a Born Pretty Store review,
this time for the water decals. You can find all the details here

Neon Nail Art: This look was created for the HPB August Link-up.
I used the Different Dimension 80’s Baby collection. Details here.

Hope you enjoyed these. Now onto another full month of unexplored ideas for new and fun manicures!

Until next time, stay polished!
