Honey Bunny Lacquer Winter Collection ~ Cremes and Holos

Hi everyone! I hope you are all having a wonderful day and sporting some beautiful polish! If not, you will want to be by the end of this post. Today I have 10, yes 10 amazing cremes and holos from Honey Bunny Lacquer. This is her winter collection, but you will want them all year long. Let’s take a look!

Honey Bunny Lacquer Dark Enough
Dark Enough is a deep blue teal that reaches opacity in just one coat. My swatches on this are a single thin coat. Looking back another thin coat or a thicker top coat would cover more imperfections on the nail.

Honey Bunny Lacquer Touch of Grey
Touch of Grey is a medium winter grey creme. Exceptional formula that reaches opacity in ONE coat. I did two thin coats for most of my swatches, but one medium coat is all you really need! Below is two coats of Touch of Grey with OTD top coat.

Honey Bunny Lacquer Witchcraft
Witchcraft is a deep berry creme with a hint of purple. Opaque in a single coat. For my swatches I used 2 coats with OTD top coat.

Honey Bunny Lacquer Witchcraft Holo
Witchcraft Holo is the holo’d sister polish to Witchcraft. The same deep berry creme with a beautiful soft holo. My top coat (OTD) did dull the holo on this one, so to maintain the full holo I would recommend skipping the top coat or use a holo friendly top coat. Either way this is a glorious color with flawless application.

Honey Bunny Lacquer Cafe Mocha
Cafe Mocha is a deep mocha creme with a slight hint of berry undertones. And you guessed it, another one coat wonder! My swatches below are 2 thin coats with OTD top coat.

Honey Bunny Lacquer I Put a Spell on You
I Put a Spell on You is a tan brown to blue thermal holographic polish with blue, green, and gold chameleon flakes. That description barely gives justice to this polish, it has so much going on it’s simply mesmerizing. This is one of those stare-at-your-nails-all-day-polishes. So consider yourself warned. 🙂
My swatches below are 2 thin coats with OTD top coat.

Honey Bunny Lacquer Haunted
Haunted is described as a unique smoky purple creme. Fully opaque in one coat, although I have used 2 for my swatches below. Sealed with OTD top coat.

Honey Bunny Lacquer Haunted Holo
Haunted Holo is the holo’d sister polish to Haunted creme. The same deep smoky purple creme with a beautiful soft holo. 2 coats with OTD top coat.

Honey Bunny Lacquer Smoke on the Water
Smoke on the Water is a smoky steel blue creme. Perfectly opaque in one coat, swatches show 2 coats with OTD top coat.

Honey Bunny Lacquer Smoke on the Water Holo
Smoke on the Water is a smoky steel blue with with soft holo rainbows. This is the holo’d sister of Smoke on the Water. One coat for opacity, my swatches are 2 coats with OTD top coat.

Note: While I didn’t have any staining on my nails I did need some extra clean up upon removal for a couple of these. And my ‘extra clean up’ consisted of a clean cotton swab with acetone and my cuticles were good as new. But some people are more prone to staining than others, so if you are stain prone use some extra care with the dark colors.

My Thoughts: I love the deep rich colors in this collection, and they could be worn all year long. Each one has a lovely formula and will reach opacity in a single coat. Rumor has it that these stamp beautifully too, which totally makes sense, so look for another post in a few days where I will be doing some stamping with this collection! I can hardly wait, I bet they stamp beautifully! This collection is available now in Honey Bunny Lacquer’s Etsy shop (link below.)

I also recommend following Honey Bunny Lacquer on social media to keep up with sales or new releases.

Do you have a favorite from this collection? I truly love them all; but if I had to pick favorites it would be I Put a Spell on You, Witchcraft, and Smoke on the Water.

Until next time, stay polished!
