Orly Melrose Collection Spring 2016 (partial)

Good Morning polishaholics! Today I have 4 shades from the Orly Melrose Spring collection to show you. Let’s check out the swatches and see what I thought about these.

Orly Trendy
Trendy is a popping peach base packed with crystal flecks. I was so excited for this color, these types of colors give me life! Unfortunately it’s safe to say I won’t be wearing it again. What you see is 3 thick patchy coats, topped with 2 coats of Seche Vite in an attempt to smooth it out. While I love the color, it’s just not worth it to deal with the dreadful formula.

Orly Feel the Funk
Feel the Funk is a lilac semi-sheer shimmer sprinkled with holographic glitter. My swatch is 3 thin coats with Seche Vite top coat. The formula on this was pretty thick and difficult to manage, and I still have some visible nail line with 3 coats. Overall, this one was okay but it doesn’t thrill me.

Orly Vintage
Vintage is bright mint green, inching towards a trendy spring green. The formula was tricky, but manageable. This is 3 coats with Seche Vite top coat.

Orly Window Shopping
Window Shopping is a hot magenta nearly neon creme with berry undertones. Easily my favorite of these, with the best formula of any. My swatch is 2 easy coats with Seche Vite top coat.

I have to say that overall I’m pretty disappointed with these. I can only hope the other 2 are better. Do you have this collection or do you think you’ll be picking it up?

Until next time, stay polished!
