Have you ever been drawn to a brand for their name, logo, catch phrase, etc? It happens to me all the time. This happened to me with Aliquid Lacquer.. you get 3 guesses what drew me to her brand and the first 2 don’t count! 🙂
So needless to say I was super excited when she contacted me to swatch the grey classic cremes! Let’s take a look…
Aliquid Lacquer Shades of Grey
Aliquid Lacquer White Shadows
White Shadows is a pale limestone grey creme that could easily be worn year round. The formula on this was so smooth and easy to apply. It fully self levels, and 2 easy coats for opacity. Topped with glossy top coat.
Aliquid Lacquer Grey Seal
Grey Seal is a medium purple taupe creme with slight mauve undertones. This is a very unique color. My swatches show 2 easy coats with glossy top coat.
Aliquid Lacquer A Hazy Shade of Winter
A Hazy Shade of Winter is a light cadet grey creme with dusty blue undertones. Another great formula, and one of my favorite shades from this collection. Swatches show 2 coats with glossy top coat.
Aliquid Lacquer Storm Front
Storm Front is a dark indigo grey creme with blue undertones. This one definitely makes me think of that time right before a big storm; where the sky goes dark, the air is still, and it seems unusually quiet while you wait for the first drops of rain. And guess what?… You guessed it, another great formula! Smooth, easy, and self leveling. Shown here is 2 coats with glossy top coat.
Aliquid Lacquer Colorblind
Colorblind is a medium warm grey creme with mossy green undertones. Another great formula. My swatches show 2 coats with glossy top coat.
I was very impressed with this collection of classic neutral shades. If you like shades in the neutral palette you will love these. I love neutral shades so these are totally up my alley. Each has a very nice smooth formula and is absolutely perfect in 2 coats. These polishes are all currently available on Aliquid Lacquer’s shop (linked below.)
Until next time, stay polished!
