Wet n Wild Spring into the Wild ~ Spring 2016 LE

I love spring colors, and every year I look forward to the Wet n Wild spring collection. Not because they are groundbreaking, after all they are only $1.99, but they are typically beautiful colors with a nice formula. So let’s take a look at this years spring collection, Spring into the Wild.

Wet n Wild Breeze on By
Breeze on By is a light periwinkle blue with purple undertones. Shown here in 2 coats with OTD top coat.

Wet n Wild Lay Out in Lavender
Lay Out in Lavender is a soft lilac creme. Shown here in 2 coats with OTD top coat.

Wet n Wild Mint to Be
Mint to Be is a pastel mint creme. Shown here is 2 coats with OTD top coat.

Wet n Wild Love Fest
Love Fest is a pastel pink creme. The formula on this one was a bit streaky and I needed 3 coats for a smooth opaque finish. OTD top coat. (Incidentally I’m not sure I would have named a Wet n Wild polish Love Fest. *giggle*)

I did a few simple nail art looks with these too…

Love Fest stamped with M Polish Berry Best Friends using plate UberChic 1-01 (wavy lines) and Moyra Memories 16 (lips)

Lay out in Lavender stamped with MdU Violet using plate UberChic 1-03.

Mint to Be stamped with MdU Turquoise using plates UberChic 5-03 and Furry Best Friends.

This collection does not disappoint. With exception of Love Fest all of these had a nice smooth formula that are fully opaque in 2 coats. Love Fest wasn’t bad, just wasn’t quite as nice as the others. My personal favorite is Mint to Be.

Have you seen this collection at your local Walgreens or other drug store? I found mine on eBay, I paid a bit more but for me it’s so worth it for the convenience factor.

Until next time, stay polished!
