Nail Hoot Birthstones Polishes ~ July, August, September ~ Swatch and Review

Hi ladies! Today I have 3 absolutely stunning polishes to share with you. These are the Nail Hoot Birthstone polishes for July, August, and September. Let’s take a look!

Nail Hoot Birthstone Polishes

Ruby ~ July
Ruby is a gorgeous red holographic polish designed after the July birthstone. My camera just refused to capture the true vibrancy of this red, so I have color corrected these to better represent the true color. Formula was flawless, 2 quick easy coats. Fully opaque in 1 coat but I did 2 just to enrich the color. Sealed with glossy top coat.

Peridot ~ August
Peridot is a rich green holographic polish designed after the August birthstone. I love green polish and this one is most definitely a winner. Formula was flawless, 2 quick easy coats. Fully opaque at 1 coat but I did 2 just to enrich the color. Sealed with glossy top coat.

Sapphire ~ September
Sapphire is a royal blue holographic polish designed after the September birthstone. I swatched this one last and I am so glad I did, because I just was not going to take it off. Formula was flawless, 2 quick easy coats. Like the others this was opaque in just 1 coat but I did 2.. just because. 🙂 Sealed with glossy top coat.

My Thoughts: I haven’t tried Nail Hoot polish within the last year or so, and while I liked them before, I love these!! I was so impressed with the stunning rich colors when I first saw them, but then seeing how incredibly saturated they are making most if not all of them one coat wonders. The formula is the kind where almost no clean up is needed; the polish stays where you put it. Not too thick and not too thin, but just right. I know thats so cliche but it’s the best way to describe it. I would highly recommend using a base coat (which I would for ANY polish) but especially with very saturated polishes. I wore Sapphire blue for about a day and a half with no staining at all, and no hints of staining on nails or cuticles while swatching the others, but its always better safe than sorry. In short I love all 3 and would not hesitate to pick up any or all of them. I can hardly wait to see the next round – I’m an October baby!

The birthstone polishes are available now. They run $22 for this set of 3, or $8 individually.
