Morgan Taylor Beauty and The Beast Collection

It’s a very sad night here as I write this post. We had to say goodbye today to our senior American Eskimo, Frazier otherwise known as “Old Man” and my heart and soul dog. He lived to the ripe old age of 16, but his numerous health issues from years of neglect caught up with him. He lived a hard life, up until 3.5 years ago at which time he became the latest in a long line of foster dogs with us. When a vet gave him 6 months to live we went ahead and adopted him, that was 3 years ago this last Friday. He enjoyed 3.5 years of love, adoration, and pampering with us; I just wish we could have given him more. He deserved so many more good years. Rest easy my special boy. 💗

Okay, so let’s get to the polish today. I am counting on polish to keep me occupied over these next weeks. This is the Morgan Taylor Beauty and the Beast Collection.

Morgan Taylor Beauty and the Beast Collection

Products received compliments of Morgan Taylor as part of the #PreenMeVIP program.

The Beauty and the Beast collection features 6 dreamy shades of red pearls, sweet pinks, and baby blue cremes including: The Last Petal, Be Our Guest, Plumette with Excitement, Gaston and On and On, Days in the Sun, and Potts of Tea. Plus, Enchanted Patina, a magical nail coat that can be worn alone or over any lacquer, giving it a beautifully bronzed antique appearance.

Morgan Taylor Plumette with Excitement

Morgan Taylor Plumette with Excitement

Plumette with Excitement is described as a soft baby pink creme. This had a lovely formula given that it’s a true pastel. I used 3 coats for a smooth even finish, but you could probably get away with 2 coats if you apply carefully. Sealed with glossy top coat.

Morgan Taylor Gaston and On and On

Morgan Taylor Gaston and On and On
Gaston and On and On is described as a soft pastel mint blue creme polish. I used 3 easy coats for my swatches. No formula issues. Sealed with glossy top coat.

Morgan Taylor The Last Petal

Morgan Taylor The Last Petal
The Last Petal is described as a bright rich fuchsia shimmer polish. A definite favorite for me from this collection. For my swatches I used 2 coats, but it was fully opaque in just one coat. Sealed with glossy top coat.

What do you think of this collection? What really stood out to me was their brush! I have purchased a number of Morgan Taylor minis over the years, and I had no idea what a fantastic brush I was missing out on. For real. Go pick up some favorites and then you can report back to me about how much you loved the brush!

RIP My Precious Old Man

Stunning collection and The Last Petal is so beautiful 🙂

  • I’m sorry to hear about Frazier =(

  • Ehmkay Nails

Can I just say how awesome you are for giving Frazier 3.5 years of love?! And of course, beautiful swatches.

  • lacquerexpression

First, I’m very sorry for your lost and I hope you can find comfort in knowing you offered him the best life you possibly could.

Second, your swatches are gorgeous, as always. This collection has some gems for a mainstream brand.

  • I’m so sorry for your loss. I think you guys are awesome for helping him get 3.5 years when being told he would only be alive for 6 months.

Your swatches are fantastic as usual!

  • Megan Glazer

    RIP old man 🙁

Your swatches are beautiful as always; my fave is The Last Petal!

  • Eliza Fox

Thank you for a very thorough review of these lovely colors. It’s exactly what i hoped for when I searched for an image of Gaston and On and On, but thanks to you I can peruse the whole kit and kaboodle here!
I know it’s months later, but I want to express how touched I am by your story of Frazier. I adopted a senior Great Dane after Hurricane Katrina whose life expectancy was about six months and lived three and a half more also. Her passing was difficult for me to cope with, but adopting her was such a beautiful part of my life. I’m so glad you were blessed with his company for those years, and he with yours. ❤️
