The Digit-al Dozen does Inspired by Each Other: Begin Nails

Hey hey my friends! It’s Day 2 of the Digital Dozen ‘Inspired by Each Other’ week. Today I have a gradient mani inspired by Begin Nails. If you aren’t following Begin Nails I highly recommend it. She has been blogging for as long as I can remember, which probably means longer than 4 years. It’s only been recently I’ve had the pleasure of getting to know her though, she is one of those very kind incredibly funny people that can make you laugh regardless of what you’re going through at the time. You know the type.

This mani of hers jumped out at me because it reminded me of a twin mani I did with my niece last year. Sadly that mani never got blogged or posted anywhere, and I had actually forgotten about it till I saw this.

You probably notice that mine is using a deep green instead of the teal that Kristi used. I had originally picked out the perfect turquoise/teal shade, but after trying dozens of times I came to the conclusion that it was too sheer to do a good gradient with. Rather than picking out another teal I grabbed the closest polish to me to see how it worked, and I never looked back. That’s okay though, I think it still turned out good.

I wasn’t able to locate this specific mani on Kristi’s blog, so I’m dropping a general link to her blog instead. Go pay her a visit!

Be sure to check out the link up below to see what the other ladies did for today’s mani.
