LeChat Dare to Wear Metallux Collection Fall 2018

Hi ladies! Do you own any LeChat polishes? They are such an amazing brand and in my opinion often underrated. I haven’t come across a bad one yet. Some of my favorites are their Metallux shades, which is their name for multichromes. I reviewed their first 6 Metallux shades here, and today I have the newest additions to the Metallux Collection. Let’s take a look, you’re going to love these!

LeChat Metallux

LeChat Narwhal

Narwhal is described as a deep blue with a subtle shift to an amethyst shade. The perfect description for this beauty. The shift is subtle but you can definitely still see it, depending upon light and angles. I used 2 thin coats with glossy top coat.

LeChat Siren Song

Siren Song is described as a pigmented dark teal that shifts to an emerald tone. To me this is the most subtle shift of the collection, still a beautiful shade though. I used 2 coats with glossy top coat for these swatches.

LeChat Phoenix Rise
LeChat Phoenix Rise

Phoenix Rise is described as a sparkling fuchsia. Now I don’t know about you but to me this stunning polish has much more going on than just that. It has a subtle yet incredible shift, as well as some pretty purple microglitters. The shift is somewhere along the lines of a red or shimmery burnt orange. Oh Copper. That’s it. A fuchsia to copper shift with added purple microglitter. Beautiful! This is 2 coats sealed with glossy top coat.

LeChat Unicorn Tears

Unicorn Tears is described as a sheer, shimmery white opal. I tried this on its own with 3 coats and it was just too sheer to wear on its own. So I recommend that it be used as a topper. Here I applied one coat over LeChat Bittersweet. Sealed with glossy top coat.

LeChat Dragon’s Breath

Dragon’s Breath is described as a burnt orange that shifts to a deep green/gold. This is another one of my favorites, I have always loved this color combination. This is 2 coats with glossy top coat.

LeChat Anubis

Anubis is described as a rich eggplant color with the most dramatic color shift of the collection. Okay are you sitting down? This is ONE coat. A single coat multichrome! That is almost unheard of.. until now. Amazing! And how about that stunning shift? One coat with glossy top coat.

The formula was absolutely flawless on each and every one of these. They apply smoothly and easily, with a nice consistency that self levels easily. The dry time was above average, so the 2 coats went on very quickly. Do you usually need 3 coats on multichromes? I always do, so just having to do 2 coats was a treat! The retail price for the metallux multichrome shades is $11.95.

My personal favorites are Phoenix Rise, Dragon’s Breath, and Anubis. The new Metallux collection shades are available now in both Dare to Wear Nail Lacquer and Perfect Match Soak Off Gel. Can be purchased directly on the Le Chat Nails website. For more information on Le Chat products check out their social media below.
