Breaking a nail sucks. And there seems to be an unwritten rule that one break will lead to another and then another. You may have noticed over the last month or so that my nails have been much shorter than normal. A series of breaks led me to repair a number of nails, and repairs with all the buffing and nail glue can damage natural nails. Long story short I ended up with short damaged nails. For a week or two I thought I might leave them shorter, but I realized I love my long nails – really love them. So I have been on a journey to get my nails back to health. If you are new to The Indie Pickup let me tell you a bit about it. The Indie Pickup works much like it’s sister, Polish Pickup. It is a 3 day preorder that takes place the third weekend of each month. Skin-Loving Ingredients 
Jojoba Oil, Apricot Kernel Oil, Rice Bran Oil, Avocado Oil, Vitamin E Acetate. May contain fragrance.

This is such a nice fall scent, and not overly strong for those with sensitivities. I particularly like the doe foot applicator, it makes it very easy to get the oil under your nails too. This arrived when my niece was visiting, she loved it so much I had to tell her to stop using it long enough for me to take photos! I appreciate that the first ingredient in this oil is Jojoba Oil, that is the one thing I always look for in a cuticle oil. That way you can be assured you have a high quality oil that improves skin condition and nail health, and not just a blend of cheaper filler oils.

    I’m terrible about using cuticle oil but this one sounds wonderful and in a scent I would enjoy.

  • I’ve been using cuticle cream for the past couple of years that comes in a jar, but when I finish it up, I will order this because I would prefer to use a doe foot applicator like this instead of a messier cream.
